GIRLS' AND WOMEN'S SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM - 28TH DECEMBER 2019
There was Nirbaya incident that happened in 2013 made entire country cry. The harrassments and violence has never been stopped in the country. But in Hyderabad, the DISHA incident left the country in shock in 2019. In the particular incident, with due respect, had she suspected the offendors and called the police instead of calling her family members, the situation might have been different. We thought of making an awareness program for all school girl children in Wyra.
With the excellent support of TSRS pricipal Smt. Sujatha madam, Vani Vivekananda Vidyalayam management Sri. Koteswara rao garu, Vani madam, TSWRS, GHS Wyra HM Ranga Reddy garu, GJC principal, we gathered 700 girl children, organized Peace rally and an awareness session at open ground of GHS Wyra. Khammam ZP CEO Smt. Ch. Priyanka and Wyra ACP Satyanarayana garu as chief guest and hon'ble guest we arranaged a awareness program. Smt. Ch. Priyanka garu delivered an excellent speech (you can watch it on YouTube).
Our president Dr. Bonepalli Narsimha Rao, Secretary Gandham Varun Bhargav, Advisory committee members Bonala VNP Sai Rama Krishna, Singu Hemanth, Ramisetty Kireeti, Kommigiri Nagaraju and program coordinators Singu Badri, Kamal, D Mohan, M Kiran, S Jayanth etc. Have participated in the program and made it successful.
